Brief profile :

I am Nidhina N N from Thrissur, Kerala. I am a graduate of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, I study 'foreign languages and intercultural communications.' As part of my degree, I specialize mainly in Spanish and French. After my Graduation, I plan to study abroad with the ERASMUS program to gain more knowledge in focus on my French language.

I really realized my ability (and a strong passion) for languages only long after I grew up in a multicultural and multilingual atmosphere when I decided what to do after high school. I realized that my true love is language acquisition through working in high school science. I am well able to work in various teams with knowledge of multicultural communication in theory and practice.

Career goals:

Many from childhood know who they want to be. Children are frequently asked if they want to be cosmonauts, firemen, actresses, and scientists when asked about their future job. I have been convinced I want to study foreign languages since my youth. I have not yet imagined how to use this information. We learned languages at school, and I opted to take another course, not so common, but it was certainly a pleasure to study. I have always wanted to do something out of the usual a bit. I had an interest in learning a foreign language and started to understand more about learning and exploring a new language. About career opportunities and foreign language skills which result in expanding employment prospects, in India and abroad, which allow a wide range of specialized careers, including translators and interpreters. The motivations for learning a language are so diverse. Language expert requirements in India have grown at a rate that has never been seen before. Language, cultural and immigration careers are key considerations in the choice of language for learning. The ability to speak a foreign language enhances your job possibilities and your professional experience. The days are passed when individuals, in particular commercial relations, are dependent on their mother tongue in communication with people.

My parents opposed my studies at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education since they thought that all students should know languages. I had to debate with them on this subject. I selected what I enjoyed, even though I was in danger of fighting with my parents when I left school. They generally made my mind up and I was pleased that I did, because my future life, not for parents and friends, is determined by the selection of a career.

A translator's career is quite widespread. It is not enough to just study to be a competent translator. The university must be completed, and your knowledge should be regularly updated, as well as being in the profession, as it is a language that can be forgotten over time. New technology, such as electronic translators, which may be obtained freely through the Internet, facilitates the job of translators nowadays.

It appears to me that this job is creative, but you can comprehend it when you listen to the translation of foreign films. The film will be much more engaging when the translator is clever and professional than when he is enthusiastic and without a sense of mood. To be a competent translator, you must be a competent student and comprehend the subject on which the translated text is written.

As a result, you must read a lot. The task of the synchronizer is the hardest because these people sometimes deliver the meaning of crucial political talks and other discussions. To avoid the tiniest error, you must know two languages thoroughly. You must work extremely hard and face difficulties to get good achievements, but I am certain that I will manage them, and being involved in life and in situations that I have never had for myself is another benefit of work. I am going to meet and learn from real life.
