3rd International Conference 2012 Translation, Technology and Globalization in Multilingual Context
The 3rd International Conference on Translation, Technology and Globalization in Multilingual Context, June 23-26, 2012, New Delhi, jointly organized by Modlingua Learning Pvt. Ltd., Indian Translators Association and Linguainda in close cooperation with Punjab Technical University and Instituto Cervantes successfully concluded on June 26, 2012 creating a new benchmark for translators and interpreters community of India.
2nd International Conference - “Role of Translation in Nation Building, Nationalism and Supranationalism” held at New Delhi, December 16-19, 2010 jointly organized by Modlingua Learning Pvt. Ltd., Indian Translators Association and Linguaindia, Indian language division of Modlingua.
Until the eighties, scholars and translators were more focused on the translation of literature and administrative texts which were mainly aimed at national and regional consumers. Ever since the communication explosion of the nineties, the demand for translation and language related services has increased exponentially. Translation is not only needed for the creation of national identity but has also become an essential tool for keeping pace with the globalization and localization processes.
International Conference on Language & Translation Industry of India - Opportunities & Challenges, New Delhi, April 17-18, 2009
The 1st International Conference on "Language and Translation Industry of India: Opportunities & Challenges" jointly organized by the Indian Translators Association and Linguaindia, the Indian language translation division of Modlingua successfully concluded on April 18, 2009 creating a benchmark for the language and translator community of India.
The first ever Indian Translators Meet, New Delhi, held on 17th September 2005, was organized under the convenorship of Founder of Modlingua, Mr. Ravi Kumar who took the initiative to bring translators from all corners of India under one platform.
