Neha Bhavsar

I am Neha Bhavsar, pursuing Spanish (Hons.) from Delhi University as my graduation course and planning to do masters in the same. I am a hardworking and dedicated student who likes to learn and explore new things and work with new people.  I believe my varied experiences and the ability to work comfortably in a team and leading too are my biggest strength.

I came from commerce background, I hope it could help me in carrying out this internship successfully. Besides reading History and Literature of Spain and Latin America, I take a keen interest in translation. To polish the skills I look forward to being a part of Modlingua. If given an opportunity by Modlingua to be in their internship program, I assure in words and prone in action that I would definitely be an asset to your organisation and would learn a great deal along with gardening more feathers to my hat of knowledge.

Language is the roadmap of a culture. To learn another language is much more than learning it, understanding it and using it as a medium to know about its inception, the culture of the people! To have another language is to possess a second soul! It’s completely a new perspective to think about the same things differently!

Having a strong opinion on my aspirations, I certainly never want to limit myself to my career goals. Restraining myself on one definite ambition will constrain me for exploring other opportunities. But since I am pursuing honours in Spanish from prestigious Delhi University (Department of Germanic and Romance Studies). I am confident about my future in the arena of exploration of the languages and the projects related.

During the course of three years of doing B.A (Hons.)in Spanish, I have been and still an avid learner and doer. Having a keen interest acclaimed by securing good grades, I have learnt to speak, read and write the Spanish language placidly. I have a minor graduation in Portuguese (Beginner’s level). Again not restraining myself to just the academic pursuit, I have attended various seminars and a certified short time course in Travel and Tourism.

I have been very active and enthusiastic in co-curricular activities since the very beginning of the school. I was never behind in taking initiative, presenting ideas and considering the opinions of everyone and work as one. Taking consideration of the ideas of the team members and moulding them for an excellent output, has always been my core strength virtue. Also, I have substantial knowledge regarding the market orientation and the commerce required for it as I had commerce strength which made me financially sound at least at a beginner level. Since Modlingua’s internship provides a great opportunity which is specifically on the agenda of ‘teamwork’, my previous experience and capabilities will be polished and furthermore, a different and enriching learning process will make me go closer to my future aspirations.
