This story is based on importance of teamwork , sharing and caring in human life.

When God first created man, he had no need to work, and he would always live to be exactly one hundred years old. God thought that this would allow humans to live in harmony, but such was not the case. They were solitary, they fought, and they did not cherish life. As a remedy, God created work in the hopes that it would bring men together. They could not build homes or grow food on their own, but instead of working in harmony, men formed competing groups that fought even more. As a remedy for these new problems, God created death. The hope was that an unpredictable death would make men cherish life, but instead it created even more inequity as the strong threatened the weak with death. God was disappointed with this inequity, and he created sickness. The hope was that the healthy would care for the sick, because when the caregivers became sick, those they cared for would return the favor. Men, however, did not care for each other because sickness created fear and disgust. God saw that men simply did not see that they could be happy, and he left them alone. Only in recent times have men finally realized that if they worked together and cared for each other, they could all achieve happiness.

I am Ruchika Sharma, a 2^nd year student of BA (hons) German, Department of Germanic and Romance Studies, University of Delhi. Being part of a department instead of a college sometimes turns out to be disadvantageous on some levels and there is definitely a lack of exposure when it comes to different facets of college life.

I thought I would face the same kind of dilemma with internships for language students until I came across “Modlingua” which paved a knowledgeable and interesting path for language enthusiasts like me and provided an opportunity to explore the world of translation and interpretation. Therefore, I would like to pen down the informative and enlightening journey I have had until now, in which I am trying my level best to be a fixed asset for this organization.

• Brief description of Modlingua

 Modlingua is a certified translation and language service delivery company that not only provides its world class language solutions internationally but also awards a learning platform to the language enthusiasts from all over the world to come under one roof and expand and enrich their horizons.

• Summer Internship 2020

 This empowering internship enables us to have a better and a clear perspective of the workings of the real translation world. This comprises of all the areas which are hardly covered in classroom sessions and equip you with first-hand information on different concepts of marketing.

• My role and responsibilities as an intern of Modlingua

 As we already know, every responsibility comes with a surge of power, a power to make or break the aims and goals that you have set for yourself. I believe that if you do something, there is no try. We should be dedicated enough to sail the boat of our hard work until it is set on the shore. So, under my purview as an intern lie many responsibilities that not only brands and promotes the said organization but also results in my self-promotion.

From making posters for the webinars, this gives you deep insight into some areas that you never thought to explore before, to being in touch with the vast knowledge of Dr. Ravi Kumar through his informative videos. I have encountered many positive aspects of sharing these videos and articles of Modlingua on social media sites, as on one hand they inspire others to learn something new and on the other hand I am to reconnect with my old friends as they enquire about the same because their interest is piqued.

• Overview of my internship experience till now

 I have been very lucky to be a part of this internship because had I not been doing this, I would have regretted a lot. The kind of exposure Modlingua is providing to the trainees in the terms of history, practicality, marketing and branding of translation and interpretation is remarkable. I have been interacting and networking with many people to acknowledge them about the various facets of language building through Modlingua. This has played a crucial role in my self-promotion and people are now interested in what I do and what I post. I have also explored my creative side in this internship through poster making and how I can advertise my product to the plethora of people out there. All in all I cannot be more satisfied and cannot think of something productive than this internship.

• My further plans and expectations

 I don’t expect anything from Modlingua because they already are doing an impressive jobs at educating their trainees in areas like online marketing, improving your content writing skills, learning a foreign language quickly, leadership qualities and the list is endless. My expectations are from myself only as I aim to be a better asset to this organization and gain as much information as I can.
