‘MILITARY’, a word that is not less than a war cry itself. No doubt, that the militarians are the best and actual heroes that any country can have. But it is so unfortunate, that we are still unaware of many sacrifices that our heroes had made for us and yet we could not recognize them all for their priceless, selfless and devotional services for the nation. As the title says, we will be uncovering two supreme unsung heroes who have saved INDIA from some major irretrievable losses.
BANA SINGH
Naib Subedar Bana Singh, who had rescued India from a life-threatening danger from Pakistan’s combatants. Under ‘OPERATION RAJEEV’, Bana Singh along with his force fought against Pakistan’s army, who had captured the Indian land, the Siachen to have a clear sneak on the movements of the Indian army. He made a decisive daytime attack on Pakistan’s troops and unfurled the Indian tricolour. The army had to face a two times defeat before the victory because the weapons got jammed at the barbaric blizzards of -25 degree centigrade and the Indian army could not backfire. But later with utter bravery and courage, India could finally defeat Pakistan and place its troops making it the highest battleground on earth and later Bana Singh was awarded the highest military honour of all time, Param Vir Chakra and the peak was renamed as ‘BANA TOP’ and the others were awarded other chakras.
RANCHORDAS PAGI
Another unsung but well contributory hero. Though he was not a ‘militarian’ but he was not even less than being one. He belonged to a nomadic family but he was extremely intelligent, that he could tell just by observing the footprints of a camel in the sand that how many people were riding the camel and the direction and the weight carried by the camel etc. He was recruited by the Indian army as a spy and he provided the army with much vital information such as 1200 hiding enemy soldiers. He has passed on crucial information about Pakistan’s troop's location by going at the places that were captured by Pakistan henceforth saving India. He had provided India with remarkable contributions during the Indo-Pak war as well which saved a thousand soldiers. He was honoured with many medals and Indian Border Security Force has named a border outpost after him. Soon we will be having a motion picture about his life and contributions that he made and we will all be able to sing about him as well like we are singing for Sehmat Khan (Raazi), Major Vihaan Shergill (Uri: the surgical strike), Caption Ran Vijay Singh (The Ghazi Attack) and many more….
