1. Globalization- : In general terms, it refers to the free movement of goods, capital, services, people, technology and information. It is the action or procedure of international integration of countries arising from the convergence of world views, products, ideas, and other aspects of culture.
2. Localization-: In general terms, it is the adaption of a product or service to meet the needs of a particular language, culture or desired population’s “look-and-feel”.
3. Internationalization-: In general terms, it is the process of increasing involvement of enterprises in international markets, although there is no agreed definition of internationalization.
4. Translation of content-: It is a tool which allows editors to create translations right next to the original article and automates the steps: copying text against browser tabs, looking for corresponding links and categories, etc. By providing a more fluent experience, translators can spend their time creating high-quality content that reads naturally in their language.

The translation is one part localization, internationalization is a pre-requisite of localization and internationalization are parts of globalization and the base of these processes is translation. Ex- A local idea could become global only if promoted locally or regionally and nevertheless internationalized. Translation process seems to be a bridge, linking all dimensions between them.

As earlier said, globalization encompasses localization and internationalization. Both of these processes are mutually related. Translation is a flourishing industry that contributes to these processes.

Localization is the process of “importing” foreign language content into local languages; internationalization is the process of “exporting” local/native language content into a specific foreign language; while globalization is “exporting” content from its original language in the world to include readers from any languages or territories.

Internationalization is when companies expand their businesses to other countries, while globalization is what happens when there’s access and the ability to exchange goods and ideas with other nations as well as travel with full freedom. Localization is what happens when we are not able to do this, so everything stays locally. Translation between the local language of the country and languages of other countries with which the economic expansion and exchange occurs which is necessary and useful in Internationalization. It can help in communication between them to be faster and more efficient than if there were no translators involved. Then, in localization, it’s important for translators to exist. May be not always it depends on location, but for example: in India there are lots of local languages involved in daily activities. Not everyone knows Hindi or English. There’s a great linguistic diversity locally, so people and businesses can benefit from translations of local languages.

So, according to me, Globalization is impossible without translators.
