Localisation is things like changing the user interface to be in differing languages; Globalization or Internationalization is about being able to handle foreign content, such as being able to load a Japanese document on a English machine/build of the application and internationalization is when companies expand their business to other countries, while globalization what happens when there's access and the ability to exchange goods and ideas with other nation, as well as have the ability to exchange to travel freely to them too. and localization is what happens when we are not able to do this, so everything stays locally. translation between the local country's language and the languages of the countries with which the economic expansion and exchange occurs is necessary and useful in internalization. it can help communication between them to be faster and more efficient to an if there were no translators involved. and then, in localization, it's important for translators to exist. globalization is the worldwide effort and interaction of the public and private sector toward economic, financial, communication, cultural etc. integration through allowing and easing the cross border movement and transfer of people, capital, data, goods and services. this includes reducing or eliminating visa obligation for visitors, tariff and non-tariff trade barriers, and liberalization of investment regulation as well as improvement in connectivity through better transport and digital infrastructure.

Globalization is required to ensure economic growth as well as to tackle the increasing global challenges and threats mankind is facing, such as the pollution of air and oceans, e.g. through micro plastics and the threat of global climate change. globalization has let to rapid economic development and wealth creation but has also created significant income inequalities. governments need therefore not only support globalization but also the fair distribution of wealth. internationalization can be interpreted as the efforts of companies to do business in one or more foreign countries. this can include activities such as the sourcing, producing and selling materials, components internationalize by entering into arm-length agreements with business abroad, by creating joint ventures with other foreign strategic or financial investors or with local partners to conduct business jointly in one or more countries, e.g. procurement or sales offices, or operational sites through foreign direct investment.
