Brief Profile
My name is Shruti Khanna. I am a student at the University of Delhi pursuing a bachelor's in French. My first encounter with french was when I was at my school, Bharti Public School, Swasthya Vihar introduced this language to us as a 6th subject. It has been eight years now that I am familiar with the language. Since I was passionate about it, I appeared in several french competitions and also in DELF exams organized by the French embassy. I have a B1 certificate from Alliance Française and today I aspire to become a translator. My other interests are music, dance, and languages.
I am a diligent student possessing great leadership skills. I am a focused individual and I always expand my horizon towards learning new things. I grab every opportunity to enhance my competencies be it personally or professionally.
Career Goals
Every individual is passion-driven in one way or the other. In my case, I was driven by the French language. I had prior knowledge of the language but to study more about literature and other aspects, I chose the perfect course for me i.e. French Hons. At present, I am also doing B2 from Alliance Française. All the while in this journey I developed an interest in translation studies and also attended workshops for the same.
After the completion of Graduation, I wish to go to France for the program “Assistants d’anglais". I further wish to complete my master's in the same domain with a specialization in Translation.
The reason I was attracted to the languages is knowing about new words and different points of view differing from culture to culture.
