Sharmishtha Samal
Currently pursuing B.A.(Hons.) Philosophy in Lady Sriram College, Delhi University. She’s been a student of French since 8 years and has self-taught the language to herself, she has also studied the language with Alliance Française de Delhi for a short while.
She has completed level A2 in Spanish with Mundo Latino in India in collaboration with Latin American Embassies. In her free time, she loves to express herself through music and listens to all music and especially loves experimenting with music that is French and Spanish, French music playing a big role in her journey of learning French all by herself living in a city where French isn’t spoken. She performs musical theatre or Spanish/French/German Operettas with the Neemrana Music Foundation since a year. She is also performed a Spanish Skit at the Embassy of Venezuela, New Delhi during the book launch of Viva Latino by Mrs. Shalu Chopra, Mundo Latino in India. She plans to find a career which compliments her two interests together, i.e her passion for singing and her passion for European culture and languages.
Sharmishtha Samal is currently a Trainee at Modlingua, where she is improving her other skills by working on topics such as Content Writing and Citizen Journalism, Project Management and Quality Standards, Entrepreneurship and Blogging.
