Rachmy Kusumawaty She is a junior translator in Indonesian-English. She has completed her studies at Bandung Institute of Technology majoring in Interior Design, that makes her has managed to read text in art and design themes. She also mastering in graphics editing programs such as Photoshop and Coreldraw in addition to use standard translation programs, so she can edit text in graphical form.
She have a strong enthustiastic in history, art, cultures and literatures. Apart from it, she have a business that she developed from her hobby to make beautiful things, that is handknitting. In her free time, she also contribute to the local community by teaching and educating English for underprevileged children near her office where she worked as a translator which is located in Bandung, Indonesia.
The reason for attending Summer Internship in Modlingua beside to get knowledge, is she will gain the professional experience at the leading translator company so she able to see the industry of translation with a broader and global prespective; a better understanding of a client need; and how to expose her knowledge and service more effectively. Therefore, in this opportunity she has selected contents that could support her core development which is project management and quality standards; entrepreneurship; social media marketing; and Youtubing and video casting.
