The only source of knowledge is experience.
This quote stated above is rightly said by Albert Einstein. I believe that the same applies to our practical lives too. No doubt the schools have equipped us with the required and necessary knowledge for each subject. But when it comes to facing reality, life will never throw its challenges towards you by classifying your problems subject wise. Your confidence, zeal, determination, and grit to confront the challenges are what count the most. I'm currently an intern at Modlingua, India's No. 1 Certified Translation Services. It has hardly been 15 days of me being a part of this prestigious company, but the day to day tasks have not only been an aid at refining my skills but have also helped me gain quite an experience.
I belong to a commerce background and accordingly, I've come across numerous business-related terms in detail. But when it comes to applying or using those terms on a professional front, hardly any of those words proved to be an asset to me. Instead, my internship at this organization manifested as a boon to my business acumen and knowledge. Ideologies and various business-related terms have been taught by Dr. Ravi Kumar (Founder of Modlingua) intensively to us, such as the AIDA Model, ROAD Map, Cloaking, Keyword Stuffing, Wolf Pack Strategy and many more. I was a complete novice to this. The everyday tasks, webinars, and assignments have been a helping hand in strengthening my business vocabulary.
Handling social media marketing and advertising companies through posters has always been one of my shortcomings. By the push and the encouragement depicted by Modlingua's team at every step, it has become quite easy for me to work on my imperfections. It is a true struggle for me to prepare posters using different applications. Regular channel and page promotions on social networking sites have made me have an upper hand in designing eye-catching posters with typing exclusive content. Besides, it helps me to create a digital footprint and enhance my social media and digital marketing skills.
In the business community, it is indispensable to have confidence and faith within oneself with some good oratory skills. The marketing world demands a person to have impressive persuasion skills which entail convincing others to follow a course of action. All of these requirements are still secondary. The primary focus is to build a strong foundation of the network, which was very well explained in a webinar elucidating about the Wolf Pack Strategy. It is only when you have a large number of customers; you can grasp the audience's attention and create an impact on their minds by persuading them towards your company. Talking about my learning in the network domain, the organization has been conducting webinars regularly, where new interns like us are motivated to take the lead. I have been a part of three webinars until now. They have been a major confidence booster for me. Being a part of this esteemed company, it has assisted me in elevating my connections on a massive level. There are hundred-plus interns in the company with whom we interact daily. Not only that, but my hesitation in public speaking has also gradually reduced.
I'm currently pursuing my honors degree in the French language from Delhi University. So, being a language student, it is essential to have excellent linguistic as well as non-linguistic skills. We have been rigorously posting content and commenting on Modlingua's videos on the YouTube channel. This practice requires us to have a good command over the language. As for me, I haven't faced any issues in this field. But if any intern is confronting it, making the use of Modlingua's Rubric and Grammarly can lead to things falling in place.
To end, life is all about the collection of such experiences and in return, learning the good from them. School and college life may have taught you some significant stuff, but what matters the most is how you apply them into practicality. For me, working with Modlingua has been an amazing experience. Here, learning and improvement go hand in hand. I feel obliged to be part of this organization and would like to thank them for refining my skills, which have been stated above.
