I had the opportunity to work as a Summer Intern at Modlingua from June 2021 to Sept 2021. It was a great experience for me as a student and I learned a lot from the lectures and experiencing the translation process in real life. Modlingua is an amazing platform that helped me strengthen my language as well as networking skills. Multiple learning opportunities, it has aided me in gaining the much-needed confidence to face the professional world. During my internship with Modlingua, I had a great experience. Through this experience and learning, I have gained some valuable skills and experiences that will help me in the future. It has been a rewarding experience learning about the translation industry, a skill I eagerly seek to master.

Using artificial intelligence for translation can also have some advantages, I have discovered. It is very efficient, so there is less time spent on translating texts, it is more accurate and you can use it in multiple languages at once. I've participated in a number of knowledge transfer sessions that were not just helpful but also interactive enough to engage me. We were explained how social media platforms are being leveraged for marketing and building fruitful connections. We have discussed the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the field of languages & translation.

Modlingua’s YouTube channel consists of a plethora of videos that discuss these topics. Watching these videos, gaining knowledge and writing articles on the same topics have further established my foundation for a successful career in translation. We have also discussed these topics in the form of presentations and group discussions. This strengthened my communication and presenting skills, which are much needed in the current world to become a language expert.
