Gaurav Prashant Vyas
My name is Gaurav Prashant Vyas. I was born and brought up in the vibrant state of Rajasthan where I completed my schooling. On completion of my schooling, I moved to Delhi in the pursuit of higher studies.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts from Delhi University. After completing graduation I pursued Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management where I got acquainted with the Spanish language. Learning a new language intrigued my interest and so I continued learning Spanish from St. Stephens College, Delhi University. The application of this new language in my first job urged me to further get a command over this new language and I pursued Advance Diploma in Spanish from Jamia Milia Islamia.
Currently, I am an experienced Spanish language interpreter with IBM and am always looking for expanding my nature of expertise with new learning experiences whenever I can.
Career Goals
Coming from a small town in Rajasthan, my aspirations started shaping up when I was about to complete my schooling from my hometown. Upon gathering information and a constructive peer interaction, I moved to New Delhi as I thought it would provide me with more resources to learn from and would give me a chance to build on an individual identity.
During graduation from Delhi University, I believed that a good education would shape up my future, but education was a small part of the many experiences I gained during my independent years. Staying away from home builds your confidence and brings a certain amount of discipline to your personality. I believe these experiences gave me more lessons to learn from than my education and so I kept redefining my goals to do better than what I have already achieved.
Working for a multinational company like IBM was an achievement for me, considering the ambiguous nature of my aspirations. I am determined to look beyond what I have achieved till now, and I want to push my limits and take up challenging roles. I have always believed that learning new things helps you grow professionally and personally and my urge to learn has not quenched just yet.
