Jyoti Sharma

I am Jyoti Sharma. I am a commerce graduate from the University of Delhi. My other qualifications include a Masters in French, an Advanced Diploma in French and DELF B1. I have been working in the teaching field for last 6 years and also worked as an interpreter with Ekta Parishad, an organization which is working on land, forest and water rights at a national level.

I have been teaching French in the most prestigious schools in Delhi and Sonepat. Currently working as an Online French Language Trainer, I had the opportunity to extend my French language skills in the corporate world, training those going on onsite to the Francophone countries. I have attended various training programs on teaching methodologies, language classroom activities and teaching aids also attended skills enhancement training in FLE.

Currently, I am an intern at Modlingua and looking forward to learning about the operational structure of the Translation and Interpretation Field.

Career Goals

Since my childhood, I have been inclined towards regional and foreign languages. I have always been interested in a wide range of activities such as music, sports, reading and travelling. I believe that everyone should develop new skills. I have always been learning new things, especially in the language field. I am passionate about music and pursuing a senior diploma in Indian Classical Music.

Teaching experience taught me to be more responsible, patient and to be a good listener. What I started as a hobby, turned into a passion to go deeper into the language and continuing my passion for the French language, I am planning to complete DELF C2.

Also, I am looking forward to the summer internship program which is providing a platform to language professionals to acquire knowledge and experience in the field of translation and interpretation. Furthermore, I would like to work as a translator and interpreter which will definitely help me in gaining considerable experience and will let me take my language skills to next level and explore new opportunities. I would like to work in a dynamic environment.
