Human, being a social animal comes across many people on daily basis some motivate them, while others just pull them backward. Important is that we learn something new and worthwhile from each one of them, to add to our life experiences.

My experience

During the orientation at my college, my professors and mentors said something that left a deep imprint on my mind and which is since then serving as a driving force for me, they said that one should constantly improve oneself and avoid to reach any point of stagnation in life and the moment you stop learning, you've reached that point of stagnation. They said that one should learn every day some new skill or something new because a language can just open up the doors to new learnings in life, one must realize these opportunities and translate them into their benefit. One should have the hearth in oneself to fight against all obstacles and all the challenges that one faces in any industry or any business, or life, in general.

Someone has rightly said that “The only person you are destined to become, is that the person you decide to be today". As an individual, we need to start working from today itself to change our future, and being lethargic should not be an option for anyone. At the same time, one should realize the importance of money as pointed out by most of the Indian parents when they say "our money is the hard-earned one" and that "money cannot be grown on a tree".

This video also points out that one should work on ourselves to a point where the consumer gets convinced to pay whatever price you ask for your services and this is how businesses work, if a business is producing a product which has low competition, it may survive in the market and will earn profits, but only in the short run. In the long run, as the competitors in the market increases, the marketer should ensure that the quality of his product is unmatchable and unbeatable. Furthermore, one should always remember that you are your own competitor and hence improve yourself and work upon yourself on daily basis.

Critical analysis

The motivational video by BHIVE Workspace and Mr. Ramesh Aravind teaches the worth of money, how important value addition is, in life and any business setup and how to survive in any industry, one needs to work on their hard, soft, technical as well as interpersonal skills which include public speaking, leadership skills, networking and many more. Moreover, the motive should be able to add value to the life of others through our constant efforts. We should ensure that our capabilities are realized to the utmost potential to achieve great success in life.

The best takeaway from my experience and what the words of Ramesh Aravind are pointing out is that one should set a goal like Arjuna from the Hindu mythology and always aim for the fish's eye.
