The above image shows the very strong and close knitted Bonding among the Ants. It clearly portrays that how the networking of these Ants let them reach their goals. As there is a huge leap between where the Ants are and where they want to reach, it is very difficult for one ant to cover it. But through this complex network, they can feed on one another and all of them could lead towards one single goal.
Similarly, we as language translators have a lot to learn from these Ants. As a network, each ant can rely on the other for support and this Bonding can make them cross the Bridge. As there is a very famous saying “ANTS FIGHTING TOGETHER WILL VANQUISH THE LION”, likewise language Translators moving together can conquer the world.
The BONDING that we as Translators learn from these Ants help us not only BRIDGE the Cultural Gap between India and the Rest of the World but also to further explore it. It further gives us a chance to have a flavor of the same context in different cultures, languages, emotions etc through the medium of Translation.
The network and the Bond thus created is so strong and complex that it is very difficult for any third party to break it. The complexity within will connect the Translators at such level that there will be no scope or chance of falling back or down. In fact, the knowledge, experience and the best practices shall be shared in such manner that it will make the whole network very enriching.
Hence, I would like to conclude that Ants may look small and Tiny but they are the most sincere, focused and close knitted ones. They teach us how to not get diverted come what may and the outgrow their network in no time. They are one clear example of Unity, Strength and Success as we as Translators shall definitely abide by the same.
