ELABORATION
Globalization: Globalization refers to the free movement of goods, capital, services, people, technology and information.
It is the action or procedure of international integration of countries arising from the convergence of world views, products, ideas, and other aspects of culture
Localization: Language localization is the process of adapting a product that has been previously translated into multiple languages to a specific country or region
Industrialisation: industrialization is the period of social and economic change that transforms a human group from an agrarian society into an industrial one, involving the extensive re-organisation of an economy for the purpose of manufacturing.
Translation: It is the communication of the meaning of a source-language text by means of an equivalent target-language text or translator.
ROLE OF TRANSLATOR
As a translator one must help other people to give directions and navigate the world. Translators help to connect with heritage, culture, history and family and hence it develops attachment towards country and people. Deeper the interaction with different cultures people more is the chances of gathering valued and develops strong connectivity with citizens of diverse culture. Translators get exposed to varied forms of translation and communication which builds a different personality within himself.
BENEFIT OF MULTILINGUAL
Translators are the people those not only translate the ideas, views or content through language medium but also are risk takers as they take the responsibility of translating the unnoticed words knowing the value of communication. They respect the feelings of other listener and translator. The major players are translators in the field of globalization, localization, industrialization and liberalization.
My major language pair is hindi>English and English>hindi. Professionally I consider the major part of translation along with the purpose and need of translating particular content. Translation for me is not only replacing words with other language but it eventually is combined the respect for other feelings and necessity to translate the content. I personally expect all translators to promote their language pairs and indulge in creating a response for integrated multilinguist.
CONCLUSION
Translators have a specific role in any of the fields but only when they promote the importance and need for translation. Otherwise having a skill and not utilizing it would mean a dish served without salt.
