Negin Raha
I have born in a multilingual country (Afghanistan) that its literary background goes back to more than a thousand years. Out of several languages and dialects, Persian (Dari) and Pashto are two national languages of Afghanistan. Another small tribe lives in Afghanistan is Turks that their spoken language is Turkish and my mother is one of them, while my father was Native Persian Speaker. So this way, I have grown up in a multilingual society. Since I have grown up in a multilingual family and society, I was very interested in language. Based on my childhood likes, after graduation from school, I did my BA in Pashto language and literature in Kabul Educational University of Afghanistan. Besides, I have completed my Diploma in English Language form Kardan University. Successfully now, I am fluent in English, Pashto, and Persian being my native tongue. I like both children and literature and when I was in university, I decided to do something for the child's literature in Afghanistan. The reason was that this section was very poor in terms of generating new materials. Thus, I have started to write short stories for children and while after me accompanied with my friends became able to make an organization (child’s literature house of Afghanistan) to enrich child’s literature in our society.  Productively, we have succeeded to publish one book contained short poems and rhythmic texts for children and publish a monthly magazine for them. In addition, I have started to gain professional work experience in journalism. And, I have started to work as a media member for 2 years in different files such as newscasting, report writing, translating and program presenter. Then, I have started to work as a Communication Officer with the Attorney General's Office of Afghanistan. After one year and a half, because of some Security issues, we have moved to India and now we live in New Delhi. Doing this internship here is a great opportunity for me to reconnect my lingual and literature skills with my experiences in this field and I am trying to do my best and accomplish my tasks.

My Career Goal
As our living in New Delhi is not permanently, I am trying to learn new things here and do some works related to my past experiences. Therefore this internship will make me able to be more engage with Indian society and learn many new technical things. Also, Since Afghanistan and India have close relationships, and a huge number of Afghans live in New Delhi, I want to work as a translator and interpreter here. However, when we moved to a 3rd country I want to continue my Educations in best academic circumstances. And after gaining sufficient knowledge, I will start my career as a Teacher in a language institution. In sequence, my next goal will be working as a University professor.
