Brief Profile

My name is Anshika. I am pursuing German (Hons) from the Department of Germanic & Romance Studies, Faculty of Arts, Delhi University. I have opted for French as my “Generic Elective” subject in my course. I have done my schooling from Gurgaon with stream “Humanities”. From the very beginning, I have always been a curious student and willing to learn everything that comes up. My interest in learning a foreign language developed in school when in 6th I had to choose one. I chose German, it is one of the most spoken languages in Europe. I had learned German for 4 years in school and thus when I got a chance to pursue it further; I chose to take this up as my career.  I have always been an enthusiastic person and keen in participating in activities that support “fun with learning “.Recently German Day was celebrated, where I won an award for the “Best Literature Text “.I also took part in a “German Play”. My brother had also opted for learning German as one of his subjects in 6th standard. I love to teach him and thus it helps me in improving my basics. I have always been taught that with determination and perseverance, everything can be achieved.  Talking about my hobbies, I am very much into traveling and reading novels. I believe traveling enlarges the sense of understanding of people, art and culture and thus makes a person more sensible. 

Career goals 

Recently German Day was celebrated in our college where I won an award for “Best Literature Text”. A few days back I took part in German Play also which I enjoyed a lot. I have been taught that with determination & perseverance everything is achievable. As a hobby, I love traveling & reading books in my spare time.

The moment I got admission in the college, my career goal was crystal clear to me. I have only one goal in my mind which is to work as Faculty in Max-Muller, Delhi and to achieve this I have further divided it into a no of smaller steps so that I enjoy the path & achieve my ultimate goal easily. I don’t want to just earn money but also I want job satisfaction & sharing knowledge earned for budding generations. I want society to remember me as a good-hearted, loving and caring person.

Now I want to do this internship in order to open myself to a whole different & new arena of practical knowledge. I assure to indulge myself 100% & hope that it would help me to grow exponentially as a human.
