Brief Profile

I am a Professor of Physics in an Engineering College at Karaikal, UT of Puducherry. I have mastered in Physics and specialized in Lasers and Electro-optical Engineering with M.Tech and Ph.D. degrees, both from reputed Anna University, Chennai.

I held a number of overseas positions, both administrative and technical. I have published a few scientific papers and organized conferences. I am continuing with academic and research activities in spectrometry, applied in Environmental studies.

All the more, I have a passion for languages. I am hailing from an erstwhile French colony, UT of Puducherry. I am a French national of Indian origin. The mother tongue is Tamil, the medium of studies English and language of passion French. My second language was French in my under graduation, I completed some certificate courses from Alliance Française de Karikal and cleared DELF B1 level competence.

 Career goals

Being a descendant of French translators, I am volunteering to translate various documents, legal, civil, and technical, etc. There is a remarkable lack of manpower in our region for French translation needs. I am aiming to fill this space and to help people who still have a connection with France.

I believe my association with MODLINGA would be of great help to take my translation skills to the next levels. My skill set of technical writing combined with translation ability will also serve a unique customer base. Working with a powerhouse will give an insight into current developments on translation methods, and political and industrial needs.
