Brief Profile:
My name is Aniket Kulkarni. I am a commerce graduate & currently pursuing M.A. in French (Part II) and will be appearing for a Special Diploma of the Spanish language from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. Furthermore, my additional qualification is having proficiency in French Language, certified DALF C1 level by Alliance Française de Pune, and Advanced Diploma in Spanish. In addition, I have one-year experience in teaching for CBSC 10th std students.
I started learning French in junior college as to have an additional language, but later it became my goal to learn the language further and I haven’t stopped since, because I strongly believe that language is something that you continue to learn without stopping. Some years later I started learning Spanish and thus decided to pursue my career in languages and give my 100 %. I am always keen to try new things, be it learning a new language or a new musical instrument. I am a hardworking individual who is always trying to learn new things and meet new people from different cultural backgrounds. Thus, I am always keen to work in any sector where I can hone my language and management skills. Also, I always try to explore new languages. To conclude, I would like to say that working with Modlingua will definitely boost my career growth and will help me a lot in understanding the language sector.
Career Goals:
Allow me to quote Frank Smith, “One language sets you in a corridor for life. Two languages open every door along the way.” And I can’t agree with it more. When you learn a new language, you also learn its culture, its people, and it helps you to look at life in different ways. Firstly, my aim is to pursue a Masters's in French and have Spanish language proficiency C1. My main goal has always been to make it big in the language industry by working as a professional translator and interpreter. This internship will allow me to apply my knowledge for the first time and help me to learn new things about this sector.
