Brief Profile:
Hello, my name is Mahesh Reddy. I am currently pursuing my final year of bachelor in engineering at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. During the third semester, I opted for and learned the French language. I felt it as a fascinating subject. Recently I worked with a youth-led Organization in India and developed a lot of personal skills. From my childhood days, I love learning new languages and keep learning new things. Along with learning the language, you can also learn the culture and lifestyle of the people using the language. The translation is truly an interesting job. It truly is a bridge that connects people from around the world. I will utilize this opportunity as a summer intern at Modlingua to enhance my skills and for my career growth.
Career Goals:
My childhood dream was to become a good engineer. I wanted to design, fabricate inspiring global technological development. I wanted to change the world. I was the first in my family to ever want to study and that came with huge moral and financial support. My childhood inquisitiveness was not only pivotal in securing my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering but also key in my desire to complete higher studies in the future. There are so many places in the world today with various challenges that need assistance and I want to use my skills to help the neediest.
In summary, I want to be able to set up a non-governmental organization that will bridge humanitarian gaps in the most vulnerable places in the world— catalyzing innovation, manufacturing, agriculture, and power generation. With the academic background I already have and the world of knowledge I will acquire at Modlingua, I hope to play my part in making the world a better place for the most vulnerable people in the world.
