Brief Profile

Once a little girl with dreams, now a Woman with a Vision. Hi, this is Sneha Mutreja- a Graduate in Hindi Honours from Miranda House College, University of Delhi. As of now, I am pursuing my Master's degree from the University of Delhi itself along with a diploma in 'Translation & Theory Practices' from the Central Institute of Hindi, i.e Kendriya Hindi Sansthan. From the very start, I have this strong vision to change people's mindset regarding our mother tongue and one of the official languages of our country i.e Hindi.
Competently, It was not an easy task to chose Hindi as a main subject at the Graduation level but I always had that keen interest and love for my mother tongue, being it Hindi I was very confident that, come what may I will do it. And Voila I have succeeded in the same. I am not a product of my circumstances, I am a product of my decisions.
From school days only, the language subjects used to be my favorite ones, be it Hindi or English and there ain't come to no change in the same. I can proudly say that I have managed to work in both languages simultaneously. I believe that the future depends on what you do today. The decision to have a diploma in Translation was the best decision I have ever made in my life because with this I got to work in both my favorite languages together. I got to learn a lot of new things and also got ample opportunities to polish my skills in this particular field. The translation is a new field where I can show up all the skills and knowledge that I have acquired in all these years. From the very start I have been an all-rounder kid, be it in school or college and therefore I believe that There are no limits to our potential achievements. So, to truly push the boundaries, we should start by not making any. Just put in your all and give it your best.

 Career Goals

I want to do all I can because I believe, It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop. Since childhood, I have this one professional dream i.e to be a School Teacher and it can be called my long-term future goal. I believe there’s nothing more interesting than enlightening young minds with all that You have acquired. And When it comes to effective teaching, strong communication skills are a must and that’s my power and potential. I also wish to learn some foreign languages in near future to level up myself in the field of Translation.
Working on translation is both beneficial and an effective means to enhance my language teaching skills having complete knowledge of both languages. Adequately, it can also work as a plus point for me. I also wish to have great projects in this field, be it a freelance project or any other stuff. Well If I talk about my short-term career goal, then that is to have as many internships as possible to enhance productivity, efficiency, and personal skills to be the apt choice for any employer. So in a nutshell The secret of getting ahead is getting started. And I have started.
