Brief Profile:

I have completed my Bachelors of Engineering from the University of Mumbai. Living in Mumbai resulted in me being able to understand 3 different languages before age 5, As Marathi was my mother-tongue and language of instructions in the school, I gradually gained fluency over the language, I also studied Sanskrit and French during my school days and later during my college years I gained the fluency over other languages such as English and Hindi. As a Mechanical Engineer, I studied multiple programming languages. During this time when I was studying AI (Artificial Intelligence), I understood the importance of learning different languages, and my passion for learning languages resurfaced. I enrolled myself to learn Spanish as it is one of the most spoken languages. I also started studying German. I am quite passionate about the environment as well. I have been working with waste management and practicing a zero-waste policy. I wish to pursue an MBA from a reputed institute.

As a bibliophile, linguaphile, and a cruciverbalist, I enjoy reading new and different books, I enjoy learning new languages, and I enjoy expanding my vocabulary. And I believe that this internship with Modlingua will help me with the same.

My Career Goals

               Since my childhood, I have always been a linguaphile. As living in a linguistically diverse society I was exposed to multiple languages as a child, for example, my mother tongue- Marathi, Hindi, Gujrati, and English. Therefore, after finishing my Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mumbai University, I decided to study foreign languages for a while. I am currently pursuing my B1 in Spanish and I am planning to study it further. I have done level A1 in German. I am also studying different programming languages like CNC and Python.

During my school days, I worked for a school's in-house magazine and was a founding member and head of the school's Science Club. As I studied in school with Marathi as the language of instruction, I am fluent in Marathi. I was selected by the vice principal of the school to find and write inspirational quotes (Suvichar), for which I chose to pursue diverse reading which is being continued till today. I have studied Sanskrit and Hindi during my school years. I appeared for multiple English language exams with British Council during my school years. I have worked as an intern in the Central Railway of India during my Engineering years. I have been a member of the British Council Library since the year 2018.

I am currently planning to pursue MBA from a reputed college and work with MNCs, as I believe that it will very well-suited job for my skill set. I am also very passionate about the environment. I have associated myself with an environmental NGO (5Rcycle) to recycle all dry & E-waste. I have a strong inclination to get a job that involves a professional attitude along with designing solutions that will make our mother earth a better place for all living beings.
