Brief profile:
I am Rupasha Sharma and currently, I am a third-year student of a bachelor's in German honors at the Department of Germanic and Romance Studies, University of Delhi. I am also pursuing a Diploma in Tourism Studies from IGNOU. I opted for humanities for my senior years at school.
I like challenges so learning a new language at a deeper level is a challenge I took after finishing my schooling.
I have been around people from the tourism industry since my childhood. I got to meet people from different countries from different cultural backgrounds and languages, which has always kept me exposed to learn a new language.
My passion for learning languages started when I joined the Spanish embassy to learn Spanish in 11th standard along with that mother also speaks Spanish which supported my interest. I also wanted to learn more languages which inspired me to take German as a language for my bachelor’s degree. I want to expand my treasure and learn more languages especially Spanish as it was the first language I got introduced to, and it has played an important role in developing my interests in learning languages. I like watching movies from different countries and try to understand the story with the help of subtitles, this is a good listening exercise and has helped me a lot with my journey of learning a language.
My interests include reading about the unexplored places all around the world and adding them to my bucket list so I can visit them
Along with it, I like dancing my heart out and traveling to unexplored destinations.
