Brief profile
My name is Tammana, this year I will turn 22, I am a native of Dehradun capital of Uttarakhand. I have done my Secondary (Class X) With 1st Division From Shri Guru Ram Rai Public School Race Course Dehradun and Higher Secondary (Class 12th) With 1st Division with the same school Dehradun (Affiliated by C.B.S.E Board). I have done my high school studies from a science background. Not only that, but I am currently doing my graduation BA (Hons) in mandarin from Doon university, I love to experience the taste of new cultures and I have a keen interest in pictographIc languages I am fascinated by the Chinese language and their way of talking, and I wanted to know more about China and its culture and the best way to learn about any country is to learn its language. Furthermore, I have done lots of newspaper translation from Chinese to English and English to Chinese both. The translation is the tool for me to better understand the culture, the country, and the people. I love to watch sit-com and series of different countries, I love to experience the taste of new culture. I am a self-conscious person, and I have the patience to strive for excellence. In my school period, I grabbed the first position in social science exhibition, and also on a nationwide platform I cracked the national level exam and was amongst the twenty-five students that were selected out of 1.6 lack aspirants. I took active participation in a grand Chun Jie celebration. The basic need of mankind is communication. By learning the languages I can fade out the differences amongst countries, and it will decrease down discrimination, racism and contributes to making this world a better place to live in. Besides all of these, I love to do some volunteering works and I want the world to become a better place to live in by doing some volunteering work. I look forward to my time here in mod lingua as an intern.
Career goal
Been working on something is exciting, and everyone wants to work on themselves like others, I also want to work on myself to make my career wonderful. Learn about new cultures and ideas. Language and culture are intertwined. The language I chose to learn, tells me something about the society in which it is spoken. I wish to establish meaningful connections and gain a professional advantage. Having foreign language skills will set me apart and give me an edge over the competition. Many sectors hire bilingual or multilingual candidates to avoid costly mistranslations, deliver services to non-English speakers more efficiently, and gain access to documents unavailable in English. I always wanted to become a translator and Translation is a beautiful beast and there are many advantages to pursuing it professionally. Being a translator is more than a good career, it is a fulfilling passion that teaches us something new every day. In the upcoming years, I see myself utilizing that particular skill to acquire wisdom I want to gain loads and loads of experience I want myself leading a group of greater individuals and also want to work under Great individuals.
As a multilingual, I want to become an expert in this field. My short-term goal is to get a job in a required company where I can utilize my skills and improve my career path.
My long-term- goal is to be in a respectable position in that organization.
This is my first step towards my goal and I will try my best to give perfection towards my work.
