Brief Profile

Hello, my name is Divyanshi Rawat. I am a college graduate and have recently completed the C1.1 Level in the German Language from Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi and shortly I’ll begin with the C1.2 Level. I have also done an Advance Diploma in the German Language from Delhi University. In that one-year course, I have not only learned about the German Language but also about German Literature which gives a deep insight into the German Language. Apart from learning German, I have also been teaching German for the past 2 years. Initially, I struggled a lot in German. I thought I won't be able to pass at least a basic level. But thanks to my German teacher. She helped me in learning this language so deeply and also motivated me. From being a struggling learner to teaching german. It's been a wonderful and progressive journey for me. Teaching experience has given me a view of what I could potentially do with the German Language and now I want to utilize my language skills in Translation work. I want to continue my journey of building my career in German by being an Intern at Modlingua. Modlingua is the platform where I can get this exposure and can make a place for myself in the world of Translation. Being a language learner, Translation becomes a part of our learning. I have improved my language skills with this and it has also become my new hobby. Apart from this my Hobby also includes Travelling, Reading, Photography, and Cooking.

Career Goals

I never thought I’ll pursue my career in a foreign language, as coming from a Commerce background. Ever since I feel for the German language. I was sure that I want to pursue my career in German. When you learn a Foreign Language, you can start your career in many fields like Teaching, Journalist, Translator, Content Writer, you can even work in Government agencies and this list goes on and on. Learning German has also opened so many opportunities for me. I started with teaching this language and now I want to learn it more. Hence, My short-term goal is to do a Master's in the German Language from Delhi University, as I’m preparing for the same. My long-term goal is to either work as a Translator in a Multinational Company or as a Language teacher. Besides this, I also want to travel to Germany and want to discover German Culture, Cities, and much more, which I have only read and seen in my Books.

I'll be very grateful to work as an Intern at this prestigious platform, Modlingua. I will work to the best of my ability to provide Modlingua with the desired results in this Internship. I also look forward to developing more of my translation and interpretation skills.
