Career Goals
Being specialized in the English language determines competence in a range of fields such as literature, linguistics and translation. However, as translation drags my attention, I decided to dig deeper into this interesting field for different reasons.
Firstly, translation contributes to exchange and benefit from other language and its people. As humans, we are forced and committed to improving our surroundings. Therefore, learning is an individual duty. Since our planet is huge and human culture differs from one part to another, exchanging expertise is mandatory. For instance, ancient Egyptians used to communicate with other nations to build their pyramids. I believe that translation was essential to communicate with those people.
Secondly, being a professional and certified translator ease the obstacles to acknowledge the world of one’s culture. Being able to translate the valuable books including history, novels, poet and stories will be led to more understanding of one’s culture.
Finally, translation as a career enhances individuals, countries and the entire world in terms of exchanging sciences, expertise and of course cooperation in various fields. A translator can turn the world into a better place.
