Anjali Chawla
Graduating with honours in French and Francophone studies and planning to master in the same. Anjali Chawla acquires a high level of Fluency in English and French language. As a foreign language student, her focus is not only on developing her language competence but also to increase her knowledge in every aspects i.e culture, civilisation etc, which gave her a new sight of adapting French culture without leaving her Indian culture.
A very optimistic person with great sense of responsibility and interpersonal skills.She is determined and focused towards her goal of being a French Professor. She has acquired knowledge of French language, culture, civilisation and linguistics. She has a wide knowledge of European Union as well. She has organised various organised various French programmes held at her university. As a student, she has been tuitions to students till class-10.
She has already worked with MODLINGUA as a summer intern in 2017. It helped her a lot in leveraging her entrepreneurial skills and gave her a wide knowledge of the Business industry as well. Keeping the utility of Summer Internship at Modlingua, Anjali has again joined Summer Internship at Modlingua and learn more about Translation and Language Business.
Career Goals
As it is said, “Those who know nothing of foreign languages known nothing of their own “. This influenced and encouraged me to learn foreign languages. So here I am Anjali CHAWLA on the Journey of knowing every bit of my own self. After so much of turmoil, I decided to learn French and Spanish as a foreign language.
French along with English is the only language spoken in all five continents, it is the major language of international communication. Therefore, currently, I am pursuing Bachelors in French and Francophone Studies from Doon University. My objective is to work in a stimulating and challenging milieu that would facilitate the maximum utilisation and application of my broad skills in making a positive difference to the organisation or institutions wherever I work. I have always been optimistic who likes to explore new horizons. I am determined and focused towards my goal of being a French professor and a translator as well.
My goal is to become a French language expert. After completing graduation in the French language I will be continuing my studies in Masters in French. While doing masters, if got an opportunity to teach French in any kind of institution, I will be happy doing it as a part-time job. Because I think this will be the best way for me to enhance my language skills and language competence as well.
After getting over with my master degree I would love to join any translation company or an institute for translation work as a full-time job, part-time job or project work. After having at least two years of experience in translating I will apply for ERASMUS MUNDUS Scholarship for doing P.HD in FRANCE and for this purpose I have already started preparing hard.
As of now, I have acquired knowledge of French language, culture, civilisation, history, literature, commercial French Tourism and linguistics. I have a wide knowledge of European Union, Hispanic studies and Advanced English as well. As all these subjects were part of my curriculum. These subjects enabled me to have an international overview. It helped me in polishing my bilingual skills.
Despite this, I am extremely passionate about Reading Spiritual books and attending seminars on Meditation and Introspection as I am the member of an organisation - Science of Spirituality. This highly encourages me to translate spiritual books and dreams about being a Spiritual Writer.
