I am from Delhi and currently pursuing law. It is a five-year integrated programme which includes bachelors in business and LLB from Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad. I have just completed my 1st year. I have opted for Spanish and German languages from my 2nd year which will help me improve my interpreting skills. I am a multilingual, who knows English, Hindi and a reasonable amount of Telugu. Learning new languages is fun for me.Apart from this, I am a dog lover and love to visit NGO’S that are working with dogs and I really wish to open one of them someday. Travelling and Food make me amused.
I have always been good in biology and chemistry that makes a plus point for me to become a forensic attorney. Interpreting skills, analytical skills, communicating skills are the common grounds to become a successful lawyer and Modlinngua’s summer internship is surely going to help me in this.
Being an average student I have always tried to learn different things apart from academics which include swimming, debating skills, participating in MUN’s, football, cricket and even some instruments like drum, tabla. I am a hard working student and would really love to work as an intern for modlingua to learn something new.
Career Goals
To obtain an internship with a leading Translation, Interpreting and Language Service delivery Company which provides the opportunity to expand my knowledge in communication. My experience as a law student with graduation in Business administration, in addition to my strong writing skills, ensures I will make a positive contribution to Modlingua.
I graduated my 10+2 with 87 percent marks in PCMB from Sanskriti School, New Delhi in 2017. Later, I joined Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad to consummate my dream of becoming a lawyer. Being from a family of lawyers, I have always been up skilled in communicating, listening and creating new ideas. I have been good in biology since school and was always enquiring to do an experiment with biology and law in long run. To obtain a career in this I am working forward to become a forensic attorney. This will utilize my analytical and critical thinking skills. As an undergraduate, I still have a lot of thing in mind to do before I enter into the world of reality.
I have opted for languages like Spanish and French for my learning in extracurricular which will get started from next semester. Currently, I am a student of the second semester where I have participated in a lot of seminars, workshops like negotiable skills, legal drafting, alternative dispute resolution, women empowerment. In addition to this, I have been part of MUN’s for parliamentary debate.
With my LLB and BBA, I am even appearing for Company Secretary exam this year for the foundation course. After this, I am planning to do diploma in cyber law before completing my five-year course of law. This would help me gain knowledge in my profession with an addition to absorbing knowledge in these interesting subjects. I have good command over my subjects like civil law(torts), contracts (which includes specific relief act, the sale of goods act, negotiable instruments act, partnership act), constitutional law i.e. Indian constitution, economics and accounting.
What motivates me every day, to get up and take a step towards my goal. I love my mom who wants to succeed in my life. She being a housewife, a mother of two still makes time to chase her dreams and earn her bread. I want to fly high to shrink the image of lawyer what people have in their mind. Being a tireless person, I would love to work and even learn much more while at modlingua. Modlingua will help me in many ways to be a lawyer and to gain knowledge about different languages and interpretations. Thanks for accepting my request to be a part of this summer internship and I can assure you that I will prove to be an asset to the company.
