Natali Rossi
I am Natali Rossi. I am a committed, reliable, persistent, responsible, and organized person. I'm used to working hand in hand.
I have been interested in reading and different cultures all my life. That’s why I started studying English and then chose to get my bachelor’s degree in Portuguese and English languages and literature at University Center UNIFAAT in Brazil.
Thereafter, I started teaching English and Portuguese in private and public schools in Brazil. Where I had my experience working with creativity and be challenging.
I started studying Spanish when I met my husband, a gentleman Mexican, 9 years ago. I improved my language skills in many of the trips I took (and I still take) to Mexico.
After maternity, I did some translation and transcription jobs for my friends and church. Thus, my interest in the subject has increased.
I researched a lot of professional translations and I enrolled in a translation course, took an introduction in technical translation market course, and a Software and Information Technology translation techniques course. In these courses I learned how to use a Computer-Assisted Translation tool – CAT tool – SDL Trados and I could see how a translator can be much more productive.
While I was studying translation, I realized that you have to expand your knowledge, not just about the language, but the culture and customs of each of the countries where the language is spoken. Every research in a project is an exhilarating adventure.
Career Goals
Hereafter, I intend to get my Master in Linguists. I would like to develop my career and become a point of reference as a professional translator.I target some specialist fields.
I want to be an expert translator providing high-quality translation, accuracy, and a persuasive writing.
There is always a high demand for good professionals in this industry of constant growth.
Surely this internship will help me improve my language skills, broaden my translation knowledge and provide me with a great experience in working with an expert team.
I personally think that experience counts more than qualifications and building my profile with an experience in Modlingua is terrific.
