Manoj Kumar

I am Manoj Kumar. After completing my graduation, I started learning French at Alliance Française. I have command in the French language till C1 level and aims to continue learning the same. I have also done Advanced Diploma in French from Punjab University Chandigarh.

My hobbies include playing chess, listening to music and gardening.  I want to enhance my skills in content writing and translation, social media marketing, blogging and web development through the internship at Modlingua. I found this internship with Modlingua to be an opportunity to learn all the aspects related to translation. This internship will help me to gain a wide knowledge of translation business.

Career Goal

Without making goals in our life, we would have nothing to look forward to, or even would not have anything to achieve. So, goals are the most important thing in a person’s life, one can associate goals according to their short-term or long-term plans. My long-term goal is to be a professional translator. As we know, translators have to convert written material from one language into another language. So, my goal, as a translator, is to provide readers with the translation which completely resembles the original piece of work. To achieve this amount of perfection a translator must be able to write in a way that maintains the structure and style of the original text while keeping the ideas and facts of the original material accurate. I like to read and write the articles and translation is something which attracts me the most as it can break language barriers between two cultures.

After completing my DALF-C1 and Advance Diploma in French, I have started teaching French. As I always want to be a translator, I am also practising the translation with the help of my friends. Now, I want to start my career in the domain of translation with the help of your internship, which seems like an opportunity for achieving my goal.
