You should know the language well to become a translator. So, one can attend different conferences to get a certificate and knowledge and slowly get experience in translating. One also can join Translation Associations, to join the workshop and become a member of that such associations. As become a certified translator is really hard in different countries. The translation is a difficult course that you should gain experience by hard work to become a knowledgeable and professional one. Because you should go under feedback that you do not try your mistake again and again. You should pay attention to the quality of your work. And you should know about different tools as well, like CAT. Because they will provide you translation memory but not so necessary but good as to have a part of technology.
