A wonderful journey of learning is going to end, however, in return it bestowed a lot. Webinars with different profound chief guests, Modlingua gave us learners a platform to interact and share our ideas and experiences. What I like the most are the Modlingua YouTube channel. On days when I failed to attend live interaction on zoom meetings, it was always accessible on Youtube. I have learned a lot from those interactions and I know it going to help me someday in my life. Making different posters for webinars lifted my creative skills. And about assignments, I going to discuss them in detail.
We cannot deny the tremendous presence of social networking sites in our lives today. Which of course comes with pros and cons. With an assignment on such an amazing topic, I have comprehended the right use of social media and how we can imply it to grow our career and business. We know how social media has reshaped the path people interact with each other. The rapid development of numerous web and social networking sites like YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, also brings about many opportunities and challenges. In particular, we focus on user interaction information in a social networks. Networks in social media are heterogeneous, consisting of various relations. Through this discussion, I have learned to build a supportive community that will make a difference in my life.
These strategies will help me land exciting new roles and achieve higher accomplishments and bring new opportunities that will elevate and inspire me to do my best and greatest work. And it has helped me to develop a stronger entrepreneurial mindset and approach to my career growth which is a must-have today.
I have always been associated with citizens journalism in a way but never knew about it until this assignment dropped. I enjoyed it very much knowing and surfing about it. I came to the term citizen journalism refers to all forms of public reporting carried out online or in other words who are not professional journalists. This includes everything from blogs covering a local Little League tournament to the online posts of citizens in countries where the national media is government-controlled. When an event is too small for larger media to take notice of the media cannot report the facts without censorship, citizen journalism may be the only source of information on what is occurring behind the media blackout.
Some citizen journalists have gained so much popularity for their reporting and commentary that they can reach a much wider audience than traditional news outlets.
Being a language learner I have sometimes used translation technology to understand difficult phrases. Sometimes it has worked properly sometimes not. Which made me believe that it’s better to translate the script manually. Doing this assignment was very much relevant. In this fast-paced, ever-connected world, learners demand seamless experiences that are as user-friendly and accessible as possible. They also want high-quality products and services that are culturally sensitive and adapted to their needs.
The process of adopting a brand’s message, look, and feel to a given culture or location is called localization. While localization may involve different aspects, such as product packaging, website design, or business strategy, it’s the culturally aware translation of a brand’s message into a specific language that is at the core of successful localization.
In the context of the information economy, this can mean having to deliver dozens of content types, in multiple languages, to a diverse range of audiences. Translation technology enables businesses not only to meet these challenges but also to maximize translation spend by increasing speed and quality while reducing cost.
The most interesting assignment was discussing whether translation is an art or a skill. And I have truly enjoyed it. I have never thought this before. It’s a topic that compels our minds to think. But with this discussion, I concluded that translation is heterogeneous. It’s a combination of both. Skill is a developed aptitude or ability to use one’s knowledge effectively and readily in the execution. Translation is a skill in principle because you have to be skilled to replace a written message or statement with the same message or statement in another language. Why should you consider translation as an art? Let us suppose a beautiful message is asserted in a different language of which you don’t even know the articles. What would you do then? You will translate it and that is what art is all about. Art of something helps spread the message of inspiration, making people achieve great things in life. Hence we can say that now translation is an art, expressing words into another without making the real meaning lost and preserving semantic and stylistic equivalences.
So lastly I want to I very much appreciated the assignments and webinars. I have gathered knowledge that I can definitely use in my life ahead. And I thank Modlingua for recognising me and having me as one of the interns.
