Prajnika Bhan

I’m a final year Computer Science major from Bangalore with an inclination towards business development. I have a knack for public speaking and debates. One can catch me writing poems in English, trying a hand at DIY projects, coding in C++ and Python, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, penning down letters for pen pals, or simply with my head dug into the works of Roald Dahl or Khaled Hosseini. Being a focused individual, I do not shy away from any hard work and believe that teamwork brings out the best in everyone. I enjoy learning especially when it’s related to something that lies in the area of my interest and I hope this Summer Internship helps me in expanding my horizon!

Career Goals

My interest towards foreign languages developed in middle school where I delved myself into the nuances of the French language. As Google Translate lacked efficiency back when it was new, I sought help from pen pals. Thus began my journey of building connections in different parts of the world, absorbing the different cultures and lifestyles, and providing informal translations on various forums.

Knowing and regarding the evolution of technology in today’s day and age, I sought after new technologies propping in our everyday lives in the form of apps that connected me to professional translators who gave me an insight on various translation methods and tips and tricks.

My current field of study has made me more inquisitive about the problems learners and translators on various apps face. I believe I have the skill set required to bring in a solution that could create even an iota of change and that Modlingua’s services can assist me in increasing my learning curve in the necessary fields.

In the future, I’d like to pursue an MBA degree and set up a business model that aids smaller companies in establishing themselves in the Indian and hopefully the international markets.
