I, Pragya Mehrotra have just completed her B.A. (Hons.) in Japanese language from Jawaharalal Nehru University, New Delhi and will continue with my Masters in the same. Learning a foreign language was always one of my desires, and during the course of my education at JNU, I have developed a certain amount of skill regarding not only the language but the also the culture and history of Japan. I am always enthusiastic about exploring and learning new things and constantly strive to achieve proficiency, which has been aided by the extensive learning program at JNU. I have an interest in music and have participated many times in the Japanese Cultural Festival held at JNU.
Currently I am pursuing the Summer Internship Program at Modlingua which will help me build my business and management skills which will in turn assist me immensely later in the corporate world. I have a special affinity for translation and the knowledge of Computer Assisted Tools will help me polish my skills further since I wish to become a professional translator. Content writing and Citizen Journalism is another aspect where I would like to develop competency.
