Yes, from the graph it is very clear that there are a large number of languages that are widely spoken, but they do not have much say when it comes to its economic, political or cultual value globally. Please note that for India, Hindi has great importance in terms of its usage and social, cultural or economical capital impact and its importance to translators.

I can exactly absorb the essence after connecting all links with my society as it is totally socially regulated activity. I am mentioning all those below as per my understanding from the given link and other findings.

  • sometimes we got lucky just only taking birth in specific family, community and country or just taking an education from good college or by joining a good company because even if we don’t do anything our culture capital works like symbolic capital everywhere. Like each and every thing related to English speaking country is having pride. Even in our country India if someone speaks in English we look back once to confirm the reality as if it is matter of huge respect and these little facts are even devaluing more our native language because indirectly or directly we are constantly inspiring our next generation to speak in English
  • If we are continuously push forward like this certainly we with the population of more than 1.311 billion contributing the most to empower those nations.
  • Why English language publish book is worldwide accepted why in the internet appx. 872 million users use English language, English is also just a medium of giving message nothing extra but this language is giving business to those economies (who centrally and peripherally use English Language) just like taking Salmaan Khaan and Shahrukh Khan in movies no matter what is the story..
  • United States represents the largest single market for translation services, If we go by the statistics then According to a report by IbisWorld, translation services are expected keep on growing and reach $37 billion in 2018 & translation industry is expected to grow by 42% between 2010 – 2020 and if English language is a global language then all the English speaking countries and their economy will grow.
  • More growth would mean more R&D would further mean more technology which is the major fact for any countries’ economic growth. They are able to enjoy relative autonomy.
  • Almost every big company advertised in English again proliferate English language they don’t feel any need to translate the product advertisement (sometimes details too) in Hindi or other native language.
  • Government policies, Trade agreements and their rules, Relaxation in norms, financial and transaction easiness, Power relations & wide acceptance gives more reasons to business and continuously offer Opportunity cost (which acts like magnet to attract Investment) to the industry players and other Governments to invest in. It also involves liberalization of the book market, as in the United States, cultural goods appear primarily as commercial products that must obey the law of profitability.

Industrialization of book market, Professional development, Structure of space of reception acted like stimulant to the growth. According to UNESCO the largest percentage i.e. 21.84% (200,698 in terms of no. of title) of published books are in English which ultimately contributes to the GDP of Country (same logic as in above statment).

Last but not the least as I have word limitations, Translation is also means of accumulating symbolic power for publishers lacking economic and cultural capital. If this scenario pertains further at the same rate then they (English speaking countries) have all the reason to grow as language, Country and Economy.
