Ruchika Gulati

Hello, I am Ruchika Gulati, currently pursuing B.A (Hons.) German from Department of Germanic and Romance Studies, University of Delhi and will be graduating this summer. These past three years have not only helped me to develop an interest for German language but also enriched my knowledge in the history of Germany and German language as well as introduced me to the world of translation and interpretation.

As a part of this course, I have done a few translations on Rental agreements, Recipes, Weather reports, Indo-German relations etc which helped me realize where my interest lay. Therefore I decided to pursue a career in the field of translation and interpretation. After my graduation, I plan to do Masters in German translation and interpretation from Jawaharlal Nehru University (already cleared the entrance for the same).

To complement my undergraduate studies, I am also a student at Max Mueller Bhawan and doing my B2.2 level from there. I have also done an internship in the field of marketing and now looking forward to being a part of Modlingua.

Career goals

I am a dedicated worker aiming to help achieve company goals and take on more responsibility as quickly as possible and therefore seeking to apply my abilities to fill the internship role in your company. 

During this internship, I want to work on my German to the highest level possible and believe that along with knowledge practical work experience is also important. Moreover, I want to develop my career as a professional in such an atmosphere where I can enhance my personality and abilities through challenging myself with higher responsibilities. Since I plan to pursue my career in the field of translation and interpretation, Modlingua seems to me such a platform where I will be able to upgrade my skills and have practical experience too.
