You are creating good content is not enough, without proper social media engagement there is no use of quality content. This lecture aims at focusing on how to make a plan for social media management. Mr. Ravi Kumar talks about the most basic method for social media management – the ROAD map. Where “R” stands for Research – searching about your business in the market and know everything about your target audience, “O” stands for Objectives – the objective to achieve measurable goals, “A” stands for Action – convert your desired audience into actionable things, “D” stands for Devices – the last stage is to upload the appropriate and attractive content on various social media platforms. Further, the ROAD map is consist of 3 phase 1. Trial phase, 2. The transition phase, 3. Maturity phase. The trial phase includes trying out various methods of attracting traffic. Transition involves stabilizing your social media activities. The maturity phase involves numerous processes and activities like random, formal, and informal.

In addition to leading social media platforms, other points are equally important. Blogging at blogger or at your own website or at any other platform can bring good traffic to your website. Embedding links of your website in blogs are very important to pull the traffic to the website. Interaction with your audience is important, so seek feedback and interact with your audience through the comments section. And sometimes there would be some negative comments. Rather than ignoring these comments learn to handle negative people. More activities include more exposure.

Developing a distribution channel for your content is a very good idea. It helps to keep control of online activities. Also, there are various websites called Bookmarking websites, one can use these websites to increase traffic and use as many backlinks as possible. There are many sites such as Moz and SEO Khazana, use these sites to submit articles and links.

The website plays an important role in every business to communicate with your audience. Thus, look for a website that accepts articles and press releases. Also, reach out to media houses with your press releases.

In the end, we have various methods to manage our website. Blogs, embedded links in blogs, backlinking, article submission, and press releases are very important aspects of social media marketing. In addition, websites like – Academia, google scholar, SlideShare, Quora, Scribd, etc. are very helpful in creating visibility. We've discussed Project Management and its importance in the completion of any project in earlier sessions; which are accessible for free of cost on Modlingua's YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/modlingua. Just as essential Project Management is for any project, there come many challenges with it.

The major challenges that we face while incorporating Project Management are inaccurate scope, failure to control the prior defined schedule of work, delay in the project, lack of resources, communication, and many others. The very first challenge leads to more than 30% of projects fail due to wrongly defined "scope". The scope is simply all the work that needs to be done to achieve a project's objectives. In other words, the scope involves the process of identifying and documenting specific project goals, outcomes, milestones, tasks, costs, and timeline dates specific to the project objectives. Inaccurate definition of the scope of Project Management, or wrongly defined boundaries of any project can affect cost, time, men, and materials or can result in communication gaps.

The second challenge is failure to control a prior defined schedule of work. If the schedule is not followed, the timeline is not met; thus, delay in project execution. A control mechanism must be incorporated to ensure the timely execution of activities defined in the plan. Delay in the project can also result in a lack of coordination, and this can further complicate the problems in Project Management. Failure to assess the pros and cons fails to define a workable timeline. Proper knowledge of money flow, supply of human resources, supply of materials. Etc helps in preparing a proper schedule, or failure do so drive a project in a risk zone

The next difficulty we see is failure to assess the resource requirement. It increases the risk of project execution as there will be a lack of material, lack of supply, lack of human resources, and thus lack of other supplies including linguistics. Project managers and supervisors are needed to check all these factors and facilitate the smooth functioning of a project. They ensure the timely release of funds and supplies of required men and materials.

And lastly, the most faced challenge is Communication. Projects do not run as per assumptions; proper and regular communication is needed between all the stakeholders to coordinate the efforts at every level and ensure effective execution of work and supply of men and materials. Apart from regular meetings, it is always good to keep a record of communications so that anyone can refer to them.  Also, documents always plays the role in eliminating communication gaps.

To follow this topic better you can refer to our video on "How to control challenges in Project Management: Role of communication" at Modlingua's YouTube channel.
