Neha Galhotra

Bonjour! My name is Neha Galhotra and I am a polyglot, fluent in French, Portuguese and English, Hindi being my mother tongue. I am currently giving the second year final exams for B.A (H) in French, Department of Germanic and Romance Studies. My teachers define me as a sincere and hardworking student. In college we are trained in various aspects of the language we are specializing in as well as an additional language (Portuguese) in my case, the continuous practice of language in writing, reading and speaking has really touched and influenced the creative part of my mind making me a good writer and speaker and encouraging me to try my hand in Content writing, journalism, translation, research etc.

Being a Commerce student at the school, I have both commercial and lingual abilities, a mix of Art and Commerce. I love reading articles on all themes, writing and working in a team as well as individually. I am keen on taking up the internship project with your organization of such great repute and enter into the professional world of the field of languages.

Career Goals

What is GOAL?  It is something that you aim to achieve in the future for which you channelize yourself in the present. Having a goal in mind is the first step to success. For me, I figured out my interest in teaching way back in my school and having a passion for languages, I decided to make my passion my profession. I aim to become a Professor of the French language, and for achieving my goal I had taken admission in B.A (H) French, Department of Germanic and Romance Studies, Delhi University in 2016. I also take a few tuitions for the French language in my locality. I have successfully completed the first two years of college.

While studying various subjects in college like French, Portuguese, English etc  I have developed an interest in creative writing, debating, translation, speaking etc which add to my language skills and enhance me as an individual. The study of languages made me discover the culture around the world further developing my interest in travel and tourism, content writing and translation which I have not so far got a chance to practice and experience professionally but I am sure and confident enough that these skills that I have acquired over the years, also my aptitude and sincerity will enable me to do justice to your Summer Internship Project 2018 at Modlingua.  I want to improve and learn in these fields such as 1. Project management and Quality standard 2.Content writing and Citizen journalism 3. Social media marketing 4. Blogging.

I am keen to take up the Internship Project to gain some professional experience related to the field of languages. I assure you that if selected, I will work to the best of my ability and try the level best to provide you quality work.
