Madhu Shree Dwivedi
Madhu Shree Dwivedi by name, I hail from a small town called Shahdol in Madhya Pradesh. Having had my schooling and up to 12th standard in Good Shepherd Convent Senior Secondary School, I moved to Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (Central University), Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh to further my higher degree both in undergraduate and post-graduate studies. During the graduation, the English language is a compulsory subject I evinced greater interest in being well conversant with the English language. While pursuing my undergraduate (Hons.) and post-graduation in Political Science I tried to be at my best in English language and most of the time on seminars and symposiums, and other functions of the department and the University I used to come forward to anchor and speak. This was only for pondering to my inherent propensity for the English language. As a part of this, I played an active role in the University in various dramas, youth parliament, essay writing competitions, debates and singing competition where I begged several prizes with flying colours. In recognition of my excellent performance as the student in the examinations, I was awarded the gold medal in Political Science (Hons.) during the year 2013-16. Also, I expect the repetition of this once the result of post-graduation comes out for the session 2016- 2018.
I am an untiring connoisseur of reading various books not confined to Political Science but transcending beyond its limits. A student of Political Science I developed a greater interest in International Relations not because of its study in interaction and relations between the nations of the world but because it opens up the opportunities for me to traverse to and have higher education in other countries outside India. Since I ventured into the domain of International Relations I envisaged pursuing my PhD abroad so that my knowledge and understanding of International Relations from a theoretical perspective could be more practical and empirical. In order to reach the set goal, I need to be acquainted with my own limitations to travel into the unknown realms of knowledge. For this, I need to be trained specific skills and technologies, more specifically in language and soft skills. My applying for internship underlies this fact. After completion of my PhD in foreign University, remaining in the academic field will be an added advantage to the society and students.
Career Goals
Completing master degree (M.A.) in Political Science from Department of Political Science and Human Rights, Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak, in first division I tend to evince a greater interest in pursuing my higher studies particularly PhD and Post-Doctoral research in International relations. I am always striving hard in search of unexplored opportunities to increase the horizons of my knowledge and refurbish my traditional ones. Instead, to keeping myself confined to classroom knowledge and specific books, I am always in the hunt for new avenues and opportunities to go beyond my confinement. I always take it a pleasure and a dynamic aspect of my life to be acquainted with my own limitations and come back with renewed strength and vigour to grapple with the new challenges and move forward.
