Ambra Giansanti
My name is Ambra Giansanti and I’m from Rome, Italy. Since I was 6 years old, I have been in contact with arts and my artistic journey was at its peak when I graduated in 2013 in the Dance and Performing Arts Academy, where I developed personal creativity, I learnt to discover myself and how to listen to other people.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in French and German studies and a Master’s degree in Interpreting & translation. I love travelling, taking pictures around the world and taste local food and drinks.I promote wellbeing and fitness, that’s why I work out at least 5 times a week. I love dancing, laughing and running.
At 21 I left my hometown to live in Germany for a year and a half and then I lived in Venice where I worked with tourism (translation of boat tours, brochures and interpreting). Actually, I’m working with translations and interpreting and next month I’ll complete an internship at the Italian Ministry of education universities and research.
Among the most significant fields of work, there are business financing, marketing, historical, legal, technical and medical translations. I hope to work in an international body or during fairs (especially for food and beverages fairs).
I have a strong sense of organization, an artistic creativity and I always try to find an original solution to the problems I encounter. I love teamwork, even if I have no problem working alone. I use all the energy, knowledge and skills I possess, and I am always ready to learn as much as possible from people who have much more experience than me.
As an intern at Modlingua, I hope to become proficient in content writing and citizen journalism, project management and quality standards, online marketing.
Career Goals
After travelling for many years I understood that I'm a “people lover”. I love interacting with different people around the world, keeping in touch with them and visiting other countries, in fact, I discovered 4 out of 5 continents. Furthermore, I spent one year as Erasmus student in Germany and two months in France to participate in dance workshops and festivals. These that have led me to a Bachelor’s degree in French and German studies.
Having worked both as an organiser of artistic and cultural events and as a hostess at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre, I have developed an interest in event organization and in intercultural environments.
Now I am a fresh graduate in Translation and Interpreting (Master’s degree) from Università Internazionale Degli Studi di Roma and I’m an intern of the Italian Ministry of education universities and research. I would like to continue along this path and work in an international context because I dare to say that I have always enjoyed working with international bodies and planning events, so I look forward to working in an embassy, consulate or ministry.
Besides my mother tongue, Italian, I can also speak German, French and English, and some Portuguese, but I wish to learn two new languages, such as Chinese and Afrikaans. I would like also beginning a non-stop travel around the world to escape the social conventions or at least start a whole new life in Germany, in France or somewhere else. I lead with my heart.
I’m also a fitness addicted and I’m training for the Berlin and New York Marathon. I’m positive and pretty sure that next year I’ll run 26.22 miles.
