Vishal Singh Negi

I am Vishal Singh Negi. I completed my Masters in the French language from Panjab University Chandigarh last year. Apart from that I actively involve in inculcating knowledge in the same. Also,  to stay in contact with the language as well as to expose myself completely to the variety of French language, I intentionally enrolled in B1 and B2 level classes in Alliance Française, Chandigarh.

I was interested in teaching as well, which led me to teach the French language to many students of school ranging from standard seventh to twelfth as they had French as the optional subject. I taught for a year after the completion of my post-graduation.

I am looking forward to digging deeper and have a greater understanding and more appropriately greater command in the language by getting enough exposure as a full-time translator and content writer in the subject. I never miss a chance to improve my spoken skills and listening skills by watching French movies and listening to French songs.

Career Goals

To decide a career goal always appeared to me as an abnormal idea and not a possible task in itself. At first, we set some targets, achieve them and then thrive for some more. So, goals change with time or can be termed as the constant evolution of a personality just like biological evolution.

If I have to pen it down, it would not be wrong to say that one language namely French sums it up for me in the best way. As mind cooks a plethora of ideas every moment, my mind is no different but there is one thing which is omnipresent in all my ideas which is the French language.

Now, at the outset of my career, I have to start from basics that are the translation but eventually when I will get better as the content writer and translator, I would love to start experimenting with my thoughts and sublimating it into French poetry first and then maybe a short story someday. No doubt the writing part could be done side by side and will take time. Translation is something which attracts me the most as it can break language barriers between nations. I have a keen desire to mingle the Indian thoughts into French style. Through French, a globally known language, I can boost my career in a positive way.

Apart from that, I would love to enhance my teaching skills and contribute towards teaching field as well. After attaining the basic skills and experience, I would like to travel and associate with Inlingua or any such company so that I could earn while travelling. I have done my Bachelors in Airlines, Tourism and Hospitality Management. Hence, I think that it would be comfortable for me to adjust to various positions if given a chance. Furthermore, I am interested to gain insight on linguistics and how it functions at various level.

To encapsulate, it would not be untrue to say that I am passionate to do anything given it is associated with French and English language considering my love for the language.
