Rishita Ray

I am currently pursuing BTech in Software engineering from Delhi Technological University. I have a keen interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, internet of things, mobile app designing and web development. I am a trained Odissi dancer. I am associated with it since a very young age, and since then it has become a part of me. I also love to play badminton in my free time. I want to explore all territories within computer science and work with a tech giant to contribute back to the society. I have done projects in C++ and Java. I believe that learning should never stop, and I want to outgrow all hurdles with my determination and perseverance. My family has been integral in raising me to a strong and independent woman. I connect better with people who are fun loving, humble and patient.

Career Goals

I was introduced to computer science when my schooling or primary education began and hence have developed a grave interest in the subject over the years. Any kind of technological advancement in the field gives me a thrill. Also, when I am able to practically relate to the advancement or build something relevant to that, it gives me immense happiness and satisfaction. Hence I decided to choose Software Engineering as my field for B Tech.

Being the only girl in the coaching centre during 11th and 12th  has exposed me to the challenging and competitive environment at an early stage. Soon, I felt at home with the competition. From a very young age, I was fascinated by the knowledge and experience the world offered. Now I want to rub shoulders with the corporate world and expand my skillset. I want to explore all territories in the field of computer science by working for different organizations and handling various roles. This will help me acquire excellent domain knowledge and contribute back to the society with my expertise and experience.

I have a competitive attitude and take up challenges as they come my way. I believe in perseverance and inner strength, which help me to outgrow my hurdles at all times. My parents are my support systems, and I want to make them proud through my work and contribution to the society.

I became an NTSE scholar in 2010, and I always aspire to excel in everything that I take up. We face a variety of new obstacles every day. I see them as challenges and opportunities to learn from and grow stronger.

Ten years down the line, I want to see myself in a senior managerial position in a tech giant. I dream of creating a niche in the society and attain a respectable position with optimum capabilities. To support my physical and mental well- being, I always keep dance as a part of my life. I am a trained Odissi classical dancer, and I am associated with it for the last 13 years.

I am the best fit for the organization because I am determined, curious, hardworking and sincere. I have an eye for detail and try to give my best in every endeavour. Working with this organization will help me to optimize my skills and contribute back to the organization and the society.
