Chanchal Goel

Hi, I am Chanchal, I am from Delhi. During schooling, I have established interest in a foreign language which encouraged me to choose higher education in foreign language. After 10 + 2 I have chosen the Chinese language as a career. Now I have just given the exams of Advance diploma in Chinese from the St. Stephens College. I am also awaiting the result of Bachelor of commerce final year. Now I am preparing for the HSK exam to increase my proficiency level in relevant language. I am yearning for study in China.

Learning a foreign language is the best decision of my life. I want to work in the corporate sector and being an intern at Modlingua will be very helpful to enhance my translation and interpretation skills which are very indeed in the corporate sector. My main areas of focus in the internship are Research, Project Management, Market Research and Entrepreneurial Skills.

I am very curious by nature, I always want to improve and upgrade my skills by time. I have also plan to learn more foreign languages, travel different countries and learn about the cultures of different countries. I also want to give back to this world and want to do something for the underprivileged children, for this I will join some NGOs who are working towards the welfare for children as well as for animals in very coming time.

Career Goals

The first goal I would like to talk about is my interest in foreign language. Therefore, after completing my schooling I decided to take admission in St. Stephens College which is a renowned college for Foreign language studies. Presently, I am awaiting results of my Advance Diploma.

Side by side I also pursued Bachelor of Commerce to enable myself to have an understanding of business. I am awaiting results of my Final year examinations.

My short-term goal is to get internship program at Modlingua to be skilled at business and marketing, also to have an understanding of the highly competitive field. By this internship, I can improve my profile as translator and language professional.

I am also preparing for the HSK exam which is a Chinese proficiency test, an international standardized test of Chinese language proficiency, after which I plan to do further studies in China. This will help me to have a close acquaintance with the culture, history of China and proficiency of the language.

My long-term goal is to become a translator.

Other than above I have a love towards travelling and want to travel different countries. I also love animals and I wish to join an NGO which works towards their welfare.
