Megha Sawhney

Hi! I am Megha Sawhney, a final year student of English honours in Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University. A writer, poet, part-time translator, certified content writer, and an artist. Interned as an oral story archiver for South Asia Institute of Harvard University, and as a content writer for a fashion start-up and an Urdu campaign. I have got my cover arts, illustrations, and articles published in magazines including Kalaage Mag. I have also worked as a freelance translator for projects to be translated from Hindi to English, looking forward to a career in the same. A curious learner sincere with commitments and deadlines.

Career Goals

I am looking forward to a career in translation in Hindi to the English language. Since most people are interested in foreign languages, i thought of going back to the native one and help in sustaining its significance. I am from Rudrapur, Uttrakhand which doesn’t give me access to a lot of opportunities as compared to people from metropolitan cities, hence an inclination towards freelancing in terms of future career goals. Awaiting to grab all kinds of working opportunities coming my way.
