Pooja Vishal

My name is Pooja Vishal, pursuing B.A with English honours along with History, Psychology and Hindi from Mahabodhi College, Nalanda. I did diploma in Chinese from Nava Nalanda Mahavihar Deemed Universiy. From begging I was interested in language than in Literature. I am quite passionate about translation especially from Chinese to English and English to Chinese. I have done Advance Diploma in Computer Application.

At present, I am doing translator and interpretation work as a freelance.

CAREER GOALS

As a tour guide, meeting with various Chinese has motivated me to know more about people of China, their culture and societies. The interest was further intensified when I gained Nava Nalanda Mahavihar Deemed University, Nalanda as a student. After complete my diploma in Chinese, I worked as a tour guide at Nalanda, Rajgir and Bodhgaya and got many experiences.

It also got experience at Cambridge School. While living away from family, with students from various backgrounds have a helped me in developing a personality that is sensitive and observant to various human experiences.

I have been a part of International Buddhist Conference 2017, worked as volunteer got various experiences.

Looking at the future I see myself as a Chinese studies expert who interprets work in spoken language as well as translate work in written language at a standard level.

Giving 100% on my work, my goal is to become more knowledgeable and responsible personality and a respectable position on my career.
