Professional Profile 

Hello, I'm Khushi Jolly, a 20-year-old pursuing B.A. French Honours from the University of Delhi. My journey with this wonderful language started back then in school. Hence, after scoring 97% in the 12th standard, I decided to follow my passion. Being an avid learner, I thoroughly enjoy all the aspects of learning a foreign language. 

Having spent 3 months in France for a linguistic tour, I possess good command over the language; spoken as well as written. 

Being a certified DELF B1 francophone, I can easily comprehend and maintain a conversation on various subjects. I have always proved to be a diligent student, actively taking part in various events and performing my best for the desired results. For me, practical experience is as important as theoretical knowledge in any field. Thus, I would like to polish my skills through internships and work experience in the future. 

Talking about my creative side, I'm quite a supporter of social media marketing and tactics because I believe that in today's era, social media plays a great role in influencing our lives. I'm passionate about photography and editing as well. I like being well informed and therefore, I keep myself updated through various online articles and sites about the ongoing events and occurrences. 

Career goals

I'm sure each one of us goes through the phase of  "Career dilemma" in our life, where we're not too sure about what to make out of our life. I firmly believe that before taking this decision of one's life, one should explore and find out the stream of one's interest. 

I decided to opt French for higher studies, once I started developing a certain liking for the language and the culture. The hours spent at the library, exploring different texts and poems, surely contributed to my interest. 

Moreover, my first-hand contact with France i.e. the linguistic tour of 3 months made me adamant about my choice of pursuing the language further. 

I plan to gain some real-life experience in the field through internships and jobs of course. 

My short term goals include grabbing this internship at Modlingua, which will certainly count as experience and would be a great opportunity to get familiar with other language experts and discuss various disciplines during the training. 

Further after completing my graduation, I would like to pursue a Master's in FLE, specialization of teaching French as a Foreign Language. This would open doors to jobs in various countries where French is not recognized as an official language. 

This internship at Modlingua would be my first experience of working in the real world, and the perfect opportunity to showcase all that I've learned in the last years. I would prove to be an asset to the company and would deliver my 100% to achieve the desired goals.
